Monday - July 20 - Notice the microfleece blankets on each chair. Makes eating outside comfy any time. Our day started much earlier today. Forget to tell you that we slept until 12:45 pm yesterday!
We are on foot today because we left Donna's bike at the local bike shop to get the brake fixed.
Almost everyone else is on bikes though.
We asked the guards at the door if we could get some of these but they said that they were all out of them.
On our way to Rosenborg Slot (Castle) but this isn't it. This is an art museum.
This is a playground in the gardens surrounding the castle.
Kids inside the castle too. This little guy did eventually smile for Doug.
Guitar envy
The inlay work on much of the furniture was amazing.
The throne room.
The throne room was lined with tapestry telling some of the history of Denmark. The detail was very impressive.
The Treasury
Headed back to the bike shop by way of the Marble Church.
And the Little Mermaid of Hans Christian Anderson fame. There must have been 10 tour buses lined up in the parking lot
Anders did a fine job of taking care of Donna's bike. They were very impressed with quality of the Co-Motion....hurray for our Oregon bike manufacturer.
