| The square was essentially empty at this early Sunday morning hour so Doug had fun having us ride this way several times so he could get the right shot in the nice early morning light. |

| We stayed until the clarion bells rang 9:00 and the clock came to life. |

| IJsselstein, our lunch stop. We spied a group of bikes parked out front of one place and figured that was the only one open for lunch (Marcus Cafe). |

| There were people of all ages out enjoying the cooler weather on their bikes and roller blades, wheelchairs and walkers. This is the Manor House in the Fort Rhijnauwen park and nature preserve just east of Utrecht. |

| An ecobridge for wildlife over N237. There are over 600 of them in the Netherlands. It started spitting rain just before we got here but we weren't far from our destination. Our timing would have been even better if we hadn't taken a wrong turn in Zeist which added 3 miles to this beautiful day of riding. |
