Sunday - July 1 A bit different packing situation than yesterday morning! |
It is already 72F and it is only 8:00. |
This city is such an interesting mix of ultra-modern and historic architecture. |
On our way out of town. |
Our route continues along the Doubs River. |
No wind today! |
Doug took a picture in this spot in 2011 and was very happy to get a chance to try it again. |
Saint Martin's in Deluz. |
We saw several of these small homes along the river....maybe summer places? |
The cemetery on the outskirts of Clerval. |
It was laundry day and the heat did a good job of drying our clothes. |
We were enjoying the grassy shade until Doug got a tick under his arm, thus we are sitting on our thermarests and imaging ticks everywhere. |
The local Kebab shop served us dinner and the World Cup. It was Russia vs. Spain and it went to a shoot-out after 2 overtimes. We were rooting for Spain but Russia won. |
The ice cream truck was VERY popular when it arrived in the campground. |
Tonight we went to sleep to the music of funny sounding frogs. We think they are probably really tiny with really big voices. |
