| Monday - July 2 Early start today again since it will be very warm later. Breakfast came from the bakery across the street from this World War I and II memorial. |

| This canal provides a boating connection between the Rhone River and the Rhine River following the Doubs River. |

| A well-equipped bike shop located right on the canal. It had a restroom, tables, chairs, a repair station, covered bike parking, and Wifi plus lots of bike stuff....bike touring heaven! |

| There was a deviation for Eurovelo 6 that took us to the top of this hill in Etouvans so it was downhill to lunch. |
