Europe 2018 - July 28 - Gouda, Can You Say "Cheese"?!

Saturday - July 28
Today we plan to explore Gouda some more on foot. It was 67F and spitting rain at 8 am......what a change from yesterday. We did laundry and finally moseyed out at 10:00.

The 10th "C" - CHEESE! Gouda cheese in Gouda 😊

The Old City Hall

The Saturday market was in full swing. It all looked so delicious but the strawberries were especially tempting.

Must be for Sasquatch.

More Holocaust markers.

St. John's is the longest church in the Netherlands.

It is also famous for its 72 stained glass windows.

It has 2 pipe organs. This is the little one.

This is the BIG one and it was making very impressive music the whole time.

Old graves inside the church.

Dinner was at a restaurant on the city center square which made for some good people watching. The light was really nice too so we weren't in any hurry to get back to the hotel.

Our day of recovery from the heat was a success. Gouda is a very pleasant city to explore and there was all that cheese!
