This little cemetery was right next to the road but had no name.

The fall colors are starting to show up here in the north lands.
We've seen a lot of forest but only a couple of lumber mills.
Fortunate for us the mass at St. Mary's in Deer River did not start until 11:00. We barely made it in time to put on our long pants and get seated.
Father Hoffman has a great sense of humor and gave a very thoughtful homily. He also rides a Honda motorcycle so could understand our passion for the open road.
Many parishioners asked about our journey and sent us off with wishes for a safe ride.
It was a little challenging to get back on our route due to the reconstruction of Main Street.
You just never know where you are going to run into bike art.
Mississippi River crossing #11, just east of Schoolcraft State Park.
Sept. 2 to Sept. 10 Fargo, North Dakota to Grand Rapids, Minnesota 290 miles about 5,200' of rolling hills No bugs (not many anyway) Lots of nice people!
