2017 - MinnWisMi Tour

Welcome back to our blog! It has been quite a summer. Visitors from Japan, Canada, Hawaii, California and Michigan. A glamping mini-bike tour in June, camping at Mt. Rainier in July, a wedding in California in August, and, oh yes, a total solar eclipse right over our house!!! Doug's got the A-OK from his prostate surgeon and we are finally on our way. A couple of months ago we weren't even sure we could do a long tour this year. There is only one little caveat...Doug has to get a shot in his eye this afternoon in Albany and then a month from now in Green Bay, WI.

It was just as smoky as it looks. It's been this way for days and we are looking forward to leaving it behind, hopefully.

The harvest has begun. This reminds us that summer is almost over.

It has become our tradition to have dinner at The Depot in Albany before catching the train. Besides, we love their fish and chips.

And we love their beautiful aquariums.
