| Thursday - September 14 - Brainerd to Little Falls We got an early start today as there was some possibility of thunderstorms later in the day. |

| Look close.....it's a wild turkey, first ones so far. We saw 2 flocks on this part of the trail. |

| We stopped at the park to find a bathroom. What we found in addition was a LOT OF MOSQUITOES. And our repellent was buried since we hadn't needed it in 2 weeks. Itchiness ensued. |

| It is pretty typical to see ATV/snowmobile trails running alongside most of the roads we've been on so far. |

| While taking a picture, Donna's bike decided to give her a tattoo by falling over, then trapping her leg between the frame and the front wheel when she tried to escape from the chain wheel. Fortunately there were only a couple of minor scratches under all that grease. The thunderstorms all went farther north today so we had a warm, muggy ride with not much wind. Tomorrow may be a different story so we will be early to bed, early to rise. |
