Canada 2019 - Day 3 - They said "Warm"

July 19 - Friday
Wallaceburg to Chatham-Kent
It was indeed still 80℉ when we got up this morning. The wind was also out of the SW so we have a headwind.
This area has lots of open fields, wind turbines and solar panels.
The road also has a really nice shoulder.

It is Doug's family road!

It was just a little too far away to go visit (20 miles round trip!) This road is part of the African Canadian Heritage Tour.

Please notice the sweat dripping off his glasses and the tip of his nose. We took refuge in a Starbucks on the northern edge of town for awhile but it was like a blast furnace when we got back on the road.
Community garden on our way through town. We found a laundromat only 1 block from our motel. It was too early to check in so we did laundry, had lunch, then checked in and worked on logistics We decided that tomorrow will be a day off due to the excessive heat warnings. The humidity definitely has its effect.
