Canada 2019 - Day 23 - Orangeville to Flesherton

August 8 - Thursday
Orangeville to Flesherton
The swelling in Donna's left hand and wrist got worse overnight so we ended up at the Urgent Care Clinic first thing.
That darn bug must have been eating something yucky as the bite was infected and a round of antibiotics was called for. (Mom....this book was in the waiting room and must have been written just for me.....Donna)
The handy thing was that it rained while Donna was seeing the doctor and it stopped just before we got on the road.
We got off Highway 10 when it changed from 4 lanes to 2 lanes just north of this spot.
This road was MUCH quieter.
And scenic too.

Another odd configuration of headstones out in the countryside.
Taking a break. North of Shelburne we were riding on Highway 10 again. The wind was very gusty and blew each of us off into the gravel a couple of times. We even walked for a brief time as it was blowing so hard.
It was a pretty heavy crosswind.
Then we got to this spot and there was hardly any wind at all, just old windmills.
The last mile to the motel was downhill with a good shoulder. It was a nice way to end a long, hard day. The restaurant was part of the motel which was even better. And best was our very kind and funny host.
