| Thursday - July 7 This is a rest and re-supply day. We are about halfway through our trip and need a few things that are easiest to find in a bigger city. Arvid passed us about 4:00 this morning and is expecting to be in Winnipeg tomorrow morning. It will take us another week or so! Following him is almost like watching the Tour de France (which, unfortunately, isn't on any of the stations this motel provides....sigh) |

| The morning was a bit wet besides so we caught up on some "house-keeping" before heading out. |

| We pedaled about 3 miles just going around the various malls that line this part of Highway 1, while completing our shopping list. Now we know where all those Bison Transport trucks are headed. |

| It was such hard work we had to finish off the afternoon with a Marble Slab Creamery creation. It was delicious! |

| Yes we did eat dinner too though that ice cream did disqualify us from dessert afterwards! |
