| Thursday - Sand Am Main to Sommerach We woke to clear blue skies and 60F....looks like another beautiful day on the Main. |

| Stopped for the picture of the river marker to let those 2 guys get farther ahead of us and then about 2 miles later they stopped for a break too. Oh well! |

| Just north of Garstadt (even though we are moving in Germany, the Main Route does a lot of zigzagging so we are often headed southwest or northwest.) |

| This is a military museum in Stammheim. We didn't go in as there were only 2 airplanes and this was the only one that was interesting. |

| We traveled past lots of fruit trees and vineyards the rest of the afternoon. |

| It must be a very popular day trip area for cyclists because we saw hundreds of them between Volkach and Sommerach this afternoon. Besides lots of grapes there are also lots of wineries in the villages along this stretch. |
