Manchester KOA to Stillwater Cove Park
Monday - September 13 We started the morning with some garden art. |
This part of the coast is looking a bit drier. We elected to not ride down this road to the Point Arena Lighthouse though it would have put us as close to Hawaii as you can get on the West Coast. |
There were quite a few boats out in the kelp beds. They looked pretty little from here. You might have to make the picture big to be able to see them above Donna's left shoulder. |
Inching ever closer to SFO. |
Natural art |
Architectural art |
An artistic outhouse. This was in the middle of the 10 mile Sea Ranch stretch. All the side roads off the highway are private and these little parks are the only beach access through this area. |
This sign did not entice us to go walk on the beach. |
Time for ice cream....gastronomic art! |
Mechanical art - This Triumph TR-6 was all aluminum, even the seats. The guy who built it was quite the craftsman with metal. He has built an airplane too. |
A very interesting tricycle. |
We stopped in Ocean Cove to get breakfast food and some corn to go with the pulled pork. |
....except for the peacocks wandering around, which ended up being our sound of the day. |
Today's miles = 45.8 Total miles = 343.9 |
