| Monday - June 25 Our Paris friends, David and Becky, just returned from Morocco yesterday and invited us over for breakfast today. They live just a few doors down from our apartment building. |

| After a very delicious meal and delightful conversations, they gave us a tour of their concert space, which is adjacent to their home. They currently host about 25 concerts a year (Becky is a retired opera singer). They used to do 55 a year but wanted to do more traveling. |

| David is an accomplished photographer too and we enjoyed seeing some of his photos of Cuba. |

| Becky was such a gracious and warm-hearted person. We are so glad that Lori and Megan got to meet her. We know that David and their son, Dan, must miss her a lot. | We spent the rest of the day preparing to leave Paris and start the biking part of our journey. End of Week 1 - 22 bike miles and LOTS of walking |
